Your Preacher Owes You an Apology

This is not an attack on preachers and teachers. It is what your bible warns you about those who preach and teach the Word of God. How many years have you attended the same church and bible study class only to receive a continual repeat of information you have studied a year or so before? Is your class always bound and directed by a "quarterly" from your organization? The bible has much to say about personal bible study but even more about those who preach and teach the bible. If the preachers in all churches today preached the truth of what the bible is really saying, they would lose their jobs. How many sermons have you ever heard from the pulpit of your church or the bible study class about the following scriptures in the bible?

John 3:13 (13) And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
Matthew 17:9 (9) And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
Colossians 1:15-18 (15) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
(16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
(17) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
(18) And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
1 Timothy 6:14-16 (14) That thou keep this commandment without spot, unbreakable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
(15) Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
(16) Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Hebrews 11:39-40 (39) And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
(40) God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
1 John 4:2-3 (2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
(3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Revelation 20:1-5 (1) And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

(2) And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
(3) And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
(4) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
(5) But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

I could list many more scriptures that are ignored by preachers, but I think you get the point. Do these scriptures seem to contradict what you have been taught about going straight to heaven when you die? Do they even raise questions in your mind about the statement that only Jesus has ever lived in the flesh, died, and went to heaven? Again I must ask you the question, "why do we still let ourselves be taught 3rd century doctrines of the Catholic Church?" This is the 21st century of learning and information at your fingertips to prove what is and is not truth. Do think your preacher would preach the Word of God for the same salary an average worker makes each year? Does your preacher drive an old junker car and live in a moderately sized house? Do think that religion is more about business and money than truth? What good is the Holy Spirit, given to all who will receive it, if you are always having to be taught the same things year after year? What does the following scripture say about you and your personal bible knowledge?

Hebrews 5:12-14
(12) For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
(13) For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
(14) But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Where do you stand in light of what the scripture says about becoming skillful in the word of God?
2 Timothy 3:1-17
(1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
(2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
(3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
(4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
(5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
(6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
(7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
(8) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
(9) But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
(10) But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
(11) Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
(12) Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
(13) But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
(14) But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
(15) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
(16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
(17) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Yes, your preacher owes you an apology for not teaching everything the bible is telling you. They dance around the facts that contradict their doctrines and teachings. They rarely ever teach and preach PROPHECY, which is over 1/3 of the information in the bible. Ask yourself this question; Have I really studied and searched my bible to be sure I am being taught correctly the things God requires me to know to be in the Kingdom of God when it comes.
