This likeness of Moses is probably accurate because it was taken from an ancient statue found in Tanis. It overlooks the United States Congress as they work each day.

Moses was made a General during the Ethiopian invasions of Egypt while he was the stepson of Thermuthis the daughter of Pharaoh Userkare Khendjr. His father, Amram placed him in a basket and had his daughter Miriam send him down the river Nile in Egypt hoping he would be rescued by the Pharaoh’s daughter. He was rescued and nurse by his real mother, Yoshabell until weaned. He was raised as an Egyptian and was heir to the throne because his stepfather, Userkare had no son. He was made a General and commissioned to fight the Ethiopians. He was successful by the use of IBES; birds of prey on vipers that inhabited the swamps between Egypt and Ethiopia. The king of Ethiopia surrendered the city upon the condition that Moses would marry his daughter, Tharbis. This is the black women mentioned in the bible that was a point of contention for Miriam and Aaron Moses’s brother and sister. Numbers 12:1  Moses had to later flee Egypt and married Zipporah, who gave him two sons.
