Gamaliel was sent by the Jewish Sanhedrin to investigate the man Jesus of Nazareth. Following is an outline of the character of Jesus as assessed by Massalian, a local resident of Bethany, where Jesus was the good friend of Lazarus and visited often back in 27 A.D.
